ABOUT JIMMY BEANS:

The Jimmy Beans Wool story starts back in 2002 when Laura (aka Jimmy) and Doug Zander opened their doors in Truckee, CA, for the first time. They sold coffee (hence, Beans) and yarn, which eventually turned into a focus on our favorite stringsーWool! With these ingredients, Jimmy Beans Wool was born and began to thrive in the fiber space, both in person and online!

Flash forward to today, we occupy a 20,000 sq ft retail and warehouse space in Reno, NV, with yarn being our main bread and butter. Throughout the years, we've also joined hands with the likes of della Q and Madelinetosh, adding them to the Jimmy Beans Wool family. This all happened while we created our own line of needles, Jimmy's SmartStix, which has rounded out the local yarn store experience with the popular Maker's bags, artisanal yarn, and innovative needles!
